This module explores student behaviour through the lens of child development, relationships, classroom culture, and educational practice. Participants will develop practical strategies for understanding the needs that often lie beneath behaviour, while learning approaches that foster engagement, responsibility, cooperation, and a positive learning environment.

Assessment

Create a practical and reflective classroom management resource that demonstrates your understanding of the principles explored in the module. This may take the form of an illustrated poster, behaviour-support framework, case study analysis, classroom culture plan, or reflective presentation, accompanied by a brief written rationale explaining how the approach supports healthy individual and group development.
