Overview
As children approach their tenth year, they begin to engage with the world in new ways, developing greater powers of observation, comparison, and the beginnings of a rudimentary/nascent objective thinking. They seek a deeper understanding of their relationship to the natural, social, and cultural world around them.

Assessment
• Create a summary of the developmental aspects of the Class 4 child
• Form drawings with commentary
• Provide photos of completed artistic exercises: two craft examples, clay work and runes, paintings from main lesson and a map of local surroundings or a compass rose
• Artistic representation of the 9 Worlds and Tree of Yggdrasil
• Identify how the main lessons meet the developmental needs of the Class 4 child
