Overview
Class 3 centres on one of the most significant transitions of childhood: the nine-year change. During this period, children begin to experience themselves as more separate from the world around them and seek greater certainty, capability, and connection to practical life.

Assessment
Compile a portfolio demonstrating your understanding of the Class 3 curriculum. This may include lesson plans, artistic and practical work, curriculum reflections, and a written commentary explaining how the selected activities support the developmental needs of the Class 3 child.
