Overview
This module explores the unique educational journey of Class 1 and the child’s transition from early childhood into formal schooling. Participants examine how the principles of Steiner education find expression in the Class 1 curriculum and learn how to create lessons that awaken wonder, imagination, enthusiasm, and a love of learning.Drawing on the developmental needs of the six- to seven-year-old child, the module explores the role of rhythm, story, movement, artistic activity, and practical experience in establishing the foundations for future learning.

Assessment
Compile a portfolio demonstrating your learning throughout the module. The portfolio will include curriculum planning, lesson development, artistic work, and reflective documentation of activities undertaken during the course.
