Certificate in Rudolf Steiner Education (Primary)

A three year part-time course for practicing and prospective teachers, parents and anyone interested in furthering their knowledge of Steiner education. This course is offered at two locations: the Seminar in Warranwood (Melbourne) and at Castlemaine Steiner School.

Extend your knowledge of Rudolf Steiner Education.
Enjoy an artistic and social experience.
For your own inner development.

Our part-time non-accredited course offers a range of subjects which are based upon the philosophy of Rudolf Steiner. We begin on Wednesday 15th February at Warranwood and Thursday 16th February at Castlemaine.

Rudolf Steiner education aims at educating the child through a balance of practical, artistic and academic activities. Its methods work with the child’s developing consciousness as it moves, step by step, through the curriculum.

This course is offered for anyone interested in extending their knowledge of anthroposophy in general, and the Rudolf Steiner curriculum in particular.  Students who are already qualified teachers are eligible to teach in Steiner schools upon completion of the certificate.

Each evening includes an artistic and/or movement activity followed by a lecture and discussion session, which is based upon a key reading text. The course runs every Wednesday evening from 7.00 p.m.-10.00p.m. during school term.
